FRESHMAN YEAR (1987-88)
Last season Lori Meinerding proved to Hoosier fans why she was named the 1987 Indiana Miss Basketball. As a freshman, her self-confidence and maturity on the court was a pleasant surprise to the Indiana team. Last season in a game against the Illini, Lori came off the bench and went 6-7 on the floor and shot 2-2 from the line. With her continued improvement Lori will definitely be called on more this year and will even challenge for a starting position.
