Bio
SENIOR YEAR (1987-88)
Ever since transferring to Indiana from Kentucky after her freshman year, Nancy has proven to be a team spark plug. Last season she had the least amount of turnovers among IU's starting guards. she had 11 starts but missed the last three games due to a knee injury. She also chipped in with 41 assists and will definitely help the team in that category this year. Last season she scored a career high 11 points in a game against Illinois where she was perfect from the line. Recovered from her injury, Nancy looks to contribute to the team in many ways.
JUNIOR YEAR (1986-87)
Nancy is listed as a senior, but in eligibility she is a junior. After transferring from Kentucky and sitting out a year, Nancy finally got to represent Indiana last season. Against Notre Dame, she scored a career high nine points, hitting three of three from the field and three of four from the line. Nancy even got the starting nod in six games. Her quickness and defensive skills make her valuable to the Hoosier game plan. Coach Jorja Hoehn hopes to see Nancy become more of an offensive threat with the addition of the three point play.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (1985-86)
Nancy comes home to Indiana after spending her rookie season with the Lady Kats of Kentucky. She had to sit out the year due to transfer rules.
FRESHMAN YEAR (1984-85)
Averaged a point a game with Kentucky before transferring to IU.
PREP
Nancy led her high school team to the 1984 Indiana High School State Championship and was the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award winner that same year. Her basketball honors as a prep player include MVP, all-conference, all-state, Converse and Carnation all-American, academic all-American and Indiana All-Star. Nancy Also excelled in tennis as Crown Point High School, where she was MVP, all-conference, all-state and Carnation all-American.
