Nicole Dietz was a late-corner to the game of basketball, starting only five years ago at age 13, and then mostly because she has already reached the height of 6-2. Nicole continued growing, both in inches and experience, and became the tallest Hoosier at 6-5 when she verbally committed to Indiana as a high school junior. Knee surgery forced her to the bench her junior year, but going into her final campaign at Bloomfield High School under Coach Debbie Stevens, Nicole was a pre-season all-state pick. She averaged 17 points and 15 rebounds her senior year and was a multiple MVP for her squad. A strong student, Nicole is also a hard-working athlete dedicated to becoming the best player she can be. With more experience and further knee rehabilitation, she has the potential to be a dominating force in the Big Ten.
