JUNIOR YEAR (1983-84)
Despite limited playing time throughout her collegiate career, Pam Mack has established herself as a team leader on and off the court. This quality has led to her selection as this season's co-captain along with junior Jennifer Wilfong. The team's only senior, Mack is a sound defensive specialist and the best on the squad at getting herself open to shoot. Her best game of the 1984 season was against Iowa State in the Indiana-Converse Classic where she turned in a strong relief performance hitting two-of-three both from the field and the line to score six points while producing two rebounds, three assists, and a steal in 16 minutes.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (1982-83)
Pam Mack, in a 77-50 victory over Purdue last season, played only eight minutes but had three points, two rebounds, and a steal to her credit. She scored a season high four points against Kentucky early in the season, and finished the year hitting her free throws at a .667 clip. Mack's IU career high of 11 points ame in 1981-82 against Western Michigan. Pam is an intelligent athlete both on the court and in the classroom where she maintains the team's best GPA of 3.60 in education.
FRESHMAN YEAR (1981-82)
Pam Mack's best performance during her rookie year came against Western Michigan University. In just 15 minutes of playing time Pam shot three for five from the floor and added five free throws for 11 points. Mack played a specialist role last year coming in from the bench for defensive purposes in several games. This year she should be called upon to provide more of an offensive punch as she owns a fine outside shooting touch and the ability to post up a shorter guard inside. Mack is an intelligent athlete both on the court and in the classroom where she maintains a 3.34 GPA.
PREP
Copped many honors at Maderia High School... Averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds as a senior... Selected as the "Player-of-the-Year" in Cincinnati... Member of the National Honor Society and also shows this intelligence on the court... Has a solid sense for the point guard spot... Also owns a fine outside shooting touch... Selected to play in the McDonald's All-Ohio Girls' Basketball Classic with fellow freshman Hoosier Paula McDole... Also excelled in softball and volleyball as a prepster.
