1997-98- Talented guard who came in as a freshman, offensively sound...can shoot the 3-pointer or drive the lane...started four games before being diagnosed with mononucleosis Dec. 9...missed four weeks of practice and six games with the illness...played in 20 games, including nine Big Ten games...averages 3.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per game...scored a career-high 14 points, had two rebounds, two assists and one steal in first collegiate game against Ball State...followed that performance up with 12 points and three rebounds vs. Kentucky...had 10 points, two assists and two rebounds in loss to then-No.14 Alabama.
