JUNIOR YEAR (1979-1980)
During the 1979-80 season at Indiana, Hodges proved herself to be a valuable asset to the inside game leading the Hoosiers in rebounds with a 6.3 per game average and also leading in shots blocked, owning 36 for the season. Scoring well with hooks and jumpers, she claimed the second highest ppg average in the 1979-80 season with 11.6. The new year should see Hodges continue her strong defensive play through her ability as a major rebounding power underneath. She will be looking to score from the low post position, and Hoosier fans should experience some exciting moments while watching Hodges play.

Coached by Terri Winchester at Crown Point High School, Sue Hodges starred as a three sport athlete there. Besides being selected as a member of the All-Conference Volleyball team, her basketball squad honored her as their MVP.
