JUNIOR YEAR (1982-1983)
Sue's best performance during 1982-83 came against Illinois State when she scored a game high of 18 points. Used primarily as a zone breaker and a defensive specialist, most of her scoring comes in streaks from the outside. Watts carries a 3.38 GPA in the Business school.

SOPHOMORE YEAR (1981-1982)
Great desire to improve... Can consistently hit the open shot...Plays heady defense...One of the best conditioned athletes on the team...Gives the Hoosiers needed height in the guard spot. Watts did not make significant offensive contributions to the team until the final five games and then she came on strong. Inserted into the Detriot game when the Hoosiers could not begin to generate an offense, she responded with 16 points on eight of 10 floor shooting in just 18 minutes of play. That showing netted the first starting assignment of her career against Miami University and a similar spot in each of the games at the Alaskan Northern Lights Invitational Tournament. Playing primarily against a zone defense, Watts responded with a game high of 24-point and 10-rebound performance against Arkansas. Over the final five games, Sue shot 60 percent from the floor and her seasonal 56 percent accuracy led the Hoosiers. Watts carried an academic GPA of 3.32.

FRESHMAN YEAR (1980-1981)
Watts has shown Hoosier coaches that she intends to use her collegiate basketball career effectively. A very hard worker, she possesses a tremendous desire to improve and displays unfailing hustle on the court.

PREP
Hailing from Valparaiso High School where she played under the instruction of Dale Ciciora, Sue Watts packs along a lot of promise, not to mention a 26.1 ppg shooting average of her 13.9 rebounds per game. Her obvious ability placed her on the 1980 All-state Indiana team, earned her the D.A.C. MVP award, and established her as the Northern Indiana Player of the Year.
