Leist joins the Hoosiers from William Mason High School and head coach Andy Schur ... she suffered a season-ending knee injury early in her senior season, but had gotten off to a fast start with four goals and three assists through the first five games ... as a junior she led the team with eight assists ... also paced the team in goals as a sophomore with 10 goals ... twice named first team all-conference and led the team to a pair of conference championships ... her high school team defeated the No. 1 team in the country on two separate occasions in her career ... as a sophomore, Leist scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Sycamore High School ... member of the ODP state team for three years ... she was also a participant at the USL Super Y Regional and National teams in 2007 and 2008 ... as a member of the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy, she claimed one state title and a pair of finals appearances ... also appeared in the USYSA Region II Tournament ... in five years with OESA, Leist scored 71 goals and added 46 assists ... the daughter of Scott and Pam Leist ... majoring in education.
