• Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Honoree
Started all 19 games in the defensive backfield ... played 90 or more minutes in 11 games ... helped the Hoosiers post six shutouts on the year ... in the season opener, held Arkansas State to just eight shots in the game en route to a 3-0 win ... led the defensive effort in a 5-0 win at Xavier ... was strong on defense in a win against Indiana State, limiting the Sycamores to just five shots in the contest ... recorded one shot in a loss at Iowa ... was on the field for all 90 minutes of a 3-0 win over Purdue to reclaim the Golden Boot for the first time since 1999 ... played 103 minutes in a 2-1 win at Michigan State ... named Academic All - Big Ten.

Appeared in 15 games and was in the starting lineup 14 times as a member of the defensive backfield ... credited with two shots on the season ... was instrumental on the defensive end of the team's three shutouts during the season ... also held high-scoring Nebraska forward Morgan Marlborough to just one shot on goal as the Hoosiers went on to claim a 2-1 victory over the Huskers ... named Academic All-Big Ten.

Joins the Hoosiers after playing two years and earning three letters for Jon Felton at Strongsville ... started at right back in both her sophomore and junior years before an injury kept her out for the 2008 season ... led her team to a state runner-up finish as a junior ... earned Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division Honorable Mention and was named academic all-conference ... also earned academic all-conference recognition in her senior year ... Strongsville won a Region 2 championship and the Brunswick District in her time on the squad ... played her club soccer for the Cleveland Internationals, where she was named to the Ohio North State Team in 2006 and the Super Y League Regional Team and the Super Y League National Camp in 2004 ... team was a regional semifinalist in 2004 and took home the Super Y League National Championship in 2007 ... also was a standout swimmer, earning four letters and qualifying for states four times ... was a junior national qualifier in swimming in 2006 ... parents are Thomas and Joan Buynak ... has one brother, Andrew, and a sister, Amelia ... is a biology major ... born on March 6, 1991.
