Brandon Heeter serves as the Sport Science Coordinator for Indiana University athletics where he works alongside the women’s soccer program in addition to men’s and women’s basketball and men’s soccer.
As an intern in IU’s Health Center for Elite Athlete Development, Heeter demonstrates expertise in exercise science, sport performance and strength training in athletic performance. He collects, monitors and analyzes data from the wearable technology, such as Polar and Catapult units, to observe athlete training loads for trend analysis and performance.
Heeter earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Indiana’s School of Public Health and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport and Coaching Science. He is a certified USA Weightlifting level one coach.
