SOPHOMORE (2018): Missed most of the season due to injury…won one singles match and three doubles matches on the season.
FRESHMAN (2017): Zavarotnaya went 12-11 overall in singles in her first season in Bloomington, which included 9-5 in dual match play…Zavarotnaya teamed up with junior Natalie Whalen for doubles and the duo went 10-10 overall, playing mostly at the No. 1 doubles position…Zavarotnaya won Big Ten singles matches against Illinois, Iowa, Purdue and Rutg
PREP: Olga Zavarotnaya comes to the Hoosiers from Vitebsk, Belarus and attended Hilton Head Preparatory School in Hilton Head, S.C...earned the Harvard Book Award in high school. When she was nine years old Olga got a chance to hit with Jelena Jankovic (former world No. 1 singles player).
PERSONAL: Daughter of Oksana Zavarotnaya and Vadim Zavarotny...born December 2, 1998...has a brother Vladislav...major is International Studies.
