FRESHMAN (2017): Played in 13 matches and 55 sets for the Hoosiers in the 2017 season…season-high 11 kills in win against Hofstra on Sept. 2…also added a season-high six digs and three blocks in the match…nine kills in the Hoosiers win against UAB on Sept. 9…hit .625 with five kills on eight swings in win against LIU Brooklyn.
PREP: Alexis Parker, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., played at Farragut High School…her team finished twice as the TSSAA State Runner-up…Parker earned special recognition in 2016 as a PrepVolleyball.Com High School All-American…Parker was selected the 2017 News Sentinel Girls Volleyball Player of the Year…Parker was the 2014 Knoxville Player of the Year, two-time district MVP, 2016 District 4-AAA Hitter-of-the-Year, two-time District 4-AAA tournament MVP, three-time region MVP and two-time All-State honoree.
