2021: Did not compete in the 2021 season…Academic All-Big Ten.
2019-20: Finished with an overall record of 5-11…competed in seven dual meets for the Hoosiers…won match in dual meet vs. SIUE with 10-3 decision against Max Kristoff…finished in first-place at the Journeyman Classic.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Finished the season with a 4-11 overall record with one dual match win…competed in two Big Ten dual matches…win by technical fall with a 17-0 win against Brandon Mills of Coker at the Hokie Open…won by fall against John Lorms of Bellarmine at the Greyhound Open…Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
2017-18 (Freshman): Posted an 8-14 overall record for the season with one TF and three pins.
Prep/Personal: Started all four seasons of his prep career under coach Alex Tsirtsis at Mount Carmel … had over 100 career wins and more than 60 career pins with a 39-14 record his senior season … a two-time state qualifier, achieved sixth-place in the 3A tournament his senior year … also earned two podium finished at both the Dvorak Tournament and the Cheesehead Invitational … a member of the Freestyle Junior National Team won three conference titles with Mount Carmel, who ranked as high as #14 (Intermat, Flo) his junior year … wrestled for Tsirtsis at Regional Wrestling Academy as well … an Illinois Scholastic Wrestler of the Year Finalist … born September 13, 1998 … has one brother, Miles … his father, Jim Hoey, played football at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh … a direct admittant to the Kelley School of Business, intends to major in Business Marketing...4th place freestyle state championships 2016.
