Opened the season with a 4-2 showing and a seventh-place finish at the EMU Open (11/7) ... opened the Keystone Classic with a 4-1 decision win over Penn’s Patrick Garren (11/22) ... won his bout against SIU-Edwardsville, 5-2, over Chris Johnson (12/5) ... earned a tech fall in IU’s dual win over Manchester (12/13) ... won his first two bouts at the Reno Tournament of Champions (12/20) ... picked up his fourth collegiate pin over Jan Johnson of #1 Penn State (1/10) ... won his second Big Ten dual bout in a row after a 3-2 decision win against Maryland (1/15) ... notched a 3-2 decision against Tyler Kral of Purdue (2/7).

Tallied an 11-14 overall record, and a 4-8 dual record, in the heavyweight class ... compiled a 2-6 record in Big Ten duals ... lost first matchup, but finished with three wins at the Harold Nichols Open (11/8) ... finished the Midlands Championships with a 3-2 record, including wins over Big Ten heavyweights Tyler Kral (Purdue) and Brooks Black (Illinois) (12/30) ... defeated Ray Gordan 3-2 at Ohio State (1/23) ... won 5-2 against Justin Kozara in Indiana’s dual win against Gardner-Webb (2/15) ... won 3-2 against Chris Johnson of SIUE (2/15) ... battled to a 4-3 tiebreaker win against Gelen Robinson of Purdue (2/20) ... won a consolation match, 10-3, against Chris Nash (Michigan State) in the Big Ten Wrestling Championships (3/8) ... won the Hoosiers’ Angel Escobedo Award, given to the season’s most courageous wrestler.
