Recorded an overall record of 8-7 on the season and 6-3 in dual matches…four pins on the season…Ended the season with 44 wins in his career…won his first six matches of the season, which included three pins…Earned the Indiana Billy Thom Award for Leadership…earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.

NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS QUALIFIER (157 lbs.) … Academic All-Big Ten selection … NWCA All-Academic Team honoree … a fifth-place finish at the Navy Classic … Brian Dolph Most Improved Wrestler Award winner … tallied a 21-15 record in a breakout season at 157 lbs. … started all 19 dual meets, going 12-7 with a 4-5 record against the Big Ten … earned bonus points in eight wins (5 MD, 3 WBF) … kicked off the campaign with a second period pin against Romeo Medina (San Francisco St.) at the Cal Poly Duals (11/3) … added to the winning effort at George Mason (11/17) with a major decision over Matthew Raines … took fifth-place at the Navy Classic (11/19), going 5-2 with two bonus point wins … after dropping his first match, rebounded for four straight wins including a major decision over Austin Kraisser (Campbell) … topped T.J. Summer 2016 (Freestyle)
Attended the 2016 ASICS University Nationals at the University of Akron … earned two wins on the opening day, an 8-2 decision over Danny Reed (Columbia) and a 12-2 technical fall over Christian Monserrat (West Virginia).

2015-16 (Redshirt Freshman - 157 lbs.)
Academic All-Big Ten honoree ... won the LHU Classic Championship at 157 lbs. ... made his varsity debut in dual action, capturing an 11-5 decision win against SIU-Edwardsville (12/5) ... lost an 8-4 decision to Brandon Kingsley, but preserved a team win over Minnesota (12/11) ... won a 13-9 decision in IU’s dual win against Eastern Michigan (12/13) ... lost his opening bout, then rebounded for four straight wins at the Reno Tournament of Champions (12/20) ... won the LHU Classic Championship (12/29) ... lost a major decision to #3 Jason Nolf in IU’s dual against Penn State (1/10) ... earned his first two Big Ten dual wins of the season with wins at Michigan State (1/22) and Michigan (1/24) ... picked up another dual win against #7 Ohio State (1/29) ... dropped Mark Bozzo (MSU) in the wrestle-backs at the Big Ten Championships (3/5).

2014-15 (Redshirt)
Champion of the Greyhound Open at 157 lbs. ... also earned podium finishes at the Eastern Michigan Open (runner-up) and Michigan State Open (fifth-place) ... compiled a 22-4 record at 157 pounds (unattached) ... earned four pins, three major decisions, and two tech falls in his debut season ... won first two matches, lost his third, then won his final three bouts for a fifth-place finish at the MSU Open (11/4) ... earned a second-place finish at the EMU Open , going 4-1 on the day (11/16) ... amassed a strong 3-2 outing at the Midlands Championships, with a 46-12 point margin in his three wins (12/30) ... won first career championship at the Greyhound Open (2/10).
