2016-17 (R-FRESHMAN): Cross Country: Crossed 37^th at the Big Ten Championships… finished eighth in the Indiana Intercollegiate. Indoor: Men’s Big Ten Freshman of the Year… Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week… led of the season with a victory in the 3,000m run at the Hoosier Open… secured victories in both the mile and the 3,000m run against Tennessee… continued his winning ways with a victory against Purdue in the mile and anchoring the winning 4x800m relay team… claimed fourth in the 3k at the Gladstein Invite… won the famed Meyo Mile with a time of 4:00.37… anchored the winning DMR squad at the Alex Wilson Invitational… took bronze in the mile at the Big Ten Championships and anchored the B1G Champion DMR Team… First-Team All-American for his efforts on the fifth place DMR team at the NCAA Championships.
