Dani Malakoff was named the Assistant Director of Video Services in August 2021.
In her position, she leads the creative video efforts for Indiana Women’s Basketball and Indiana Baseball, while assisting with Indiana Football. She also collaborates with the graphic design department on motion assets for social media and video board shows.
Malakoff graduated from the University of Kansas in 2017 and received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a focus in news and information and a minor in History. During her time in Lawrence, she worked at Rock Chalk Video as a Video Production Assistant. In her role, she supported in ESPN3 and video board productions for Kansas Athletics. Prior to joining the staff at Indiana, Malakoff spent four years with Hail State Productions and Mississippi State Athletics. She served as the Assistant Video Coordinator during her first two years and the Assistant Director of Creative Video in the following two years.
In 2018, Malakoff received a Southeast Regional Emmy Award (Outstanding Sports - Feature/Segment) for her work on a feature video highlighting student-athlete Braxton Hoyett who lost his father prior to his junior season.
She is a native of Dallas, Texas who now resides in Bloomington.
