Joe Delia became a Hoosier in July 2025 as an Assistant Director of Compliance. He primarily oversees aspects of Bylaws 11, 13, and 17 ?while serving as a liaison to Women’s Rowing, Women's Field Hockey, and Men’s Tennis.
Prior to arriving in Bloomington, he spent 7 years in Milwaukee becoming a triple Marquette University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s in business administration, and a juris doctor from the Law School. He is licensed as an attorney in Wisconsin. During his final two years at Marquette, he jumpstarted his compliance career as a compliance intern with Marquette Athletics.
Joe is originally from Rockford, Illinois. In his spare time, he enjoys rooting for his favorite sports teams (Bear Down!), being active outdoors, and traveling with his family.
