Kristen joined the department in 2009 and she was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Human Resources in 2010 and Senior Assistant Athletic Director for Human Resources in 2019. Previous to joining Athletics, Kristen served as a Compensation Consultant for Indiana University Human Resources. In her role as Senior Assistant Athletic Director for Human Resources she provides leadership, expertise and administrative direction to senior management, managers and employees on all facets of human resources. She assists in the development of departmental policy, guidelines and procedures. Kristen serves as a resource on the interpretation and application of university policy and state and federal regulations.
She received both her bachelor's in psychology and master's in public affairs from Indiana University.
Kristen lives in Bloomington with her two sons, Drew and Ian.
