Kyle Winters joined the Indiana University Sports Medicine staff in 2017, providing care to the wrestling program.

Winters will be in his ninth season with the program in 2025-26.

Winters started with the Hoosiers in 2016 as site coordinator for the NCAA/DoD Grand Alliance Care Consortium. Prior to his role with the Indiana University Sports Medicine staff, Winters served as Head Athletic Trainer for Arizona Christian University in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2014-2015 season, following completion of his Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from A.T. Still University in 2014. As an undergraduate student Winters was fortunate enough to complete an athletic training student internship with the Denver Broncos in 2011.

Winters, originally from Muncie, Indiana, returns to Indiana University after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2012. Kyle and his wife Kristen live in Bloomington and have two children, Graham and Elle.
