Michaela Brueggen joined the Hoosiers in the fall of 2021 as the Assistant Director of Compliance for Monitoring. Now the Director, Brueggen serves as the primary compliance contact for women’s basketball, volleyball, softball, wrestling, track and field, and cross country.
Prior to IU, Brueggen worked in the compliance office at the University of Nebraska as a graduate assistant. While in Lincoln, she also earned her master's degree in intercollegiate athletics administration.
Brueggen, who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2018 with a bachelor's in Sport Management, has served on UW-L's Sport Management Advisory Board since 2022.
A true “Cheese-head,” the Arcadia, Wisconsin native is a Green Bay Packers “owner.” Brueggen resides in Bloomington.
