• Indiana's defense limited Ohio State to 93 passing yards and 383 total yards. The Buckeyes entered the game averaging 57.0 points, 332.0 rushing yards, 244.2 passing yards and 576.2 total yards.
• The last time IU held a Big Ten opponent under 100 passing yards came against Wisconsin (41 yards) on Nov. 11, 2012.
• Redshirt junior defensive lineman Patrick Dougherty recovered the first fumble of his career, leading to Griffin Oakes 22-yard field goal in the opening quarter. Dougherty also added one pass breakup.
• Redshirt junior defensive tackle Nate Hoff recorded his second sack of 2016 in the second quarter to improve his career total to 5.5. Hoff also finished with two TFLs.
• Junior linebacker Tegray Scales recorded his third straight double-digit tackle game and the fourth of his career with 10 stops (7 solo). Scales added a quarterback hurry and a PBU.
• In his first career start, true freshman cornerback A'Shon Riggins picked off his first career pass and returned it 31 yards to the Ohio State 13-yard line in the fourth quarter.
• Fifth-year senior defensive tackle Ralph Green III finished with a career-high six tackles and junior safety Tony Fields delivered a career-high eight stops.
• Indiana has recovered four fumbles, intercepted five passes and scored 23 points off of its nine takeaways this season.
• Redshirt junior safety Chase Dutra recorded his third career forced fumble and added five tackles.
• Richard Lagow collected his fourth straight multi-TD game with two. The redshirt junior finished 14-of-28 for 182 yards.
• Fifth-year senior Mitchell Paige pulled in the Hoosiers first touchdown of the afternoon, an 18-yarder, in the second quarter. Paige has two receiving scores on the season and eight in his career. He made four catches for 44 yards.
• With a 50-yard reception, sophomore Nick Westbrook now has three receptions of 50-plus yards this season. He paced the Hoosiers with 67 receiving yards on two catches.
• Danny Friend pulled IU within one possession in the third quarter with a 7-yard TD catch. The redshirt junior tight end has six receptions in 2016, two of which came in the end zone.
• Indiana's 89-yard scoring driving in the third quarter took 13 plays and 4:53 off of the clock. It was the Hoosiers longest scoring drive in terms of plays and time, and their second-longest in terms of yards (90-yarder vs. Michigan State) in 2016. All three were the most against the Buckeyes this season.
• Oakes moved into a share of fifth on the IU career field goals list (43) and into 10th on the career total points list (220). The redshirt junior is 6-of-10 on the season and 15-of-15 on extra points.
• Redshirt junior Marcus Oliver (5th time in 2016), junior Devine Redding (2nd time), fifth-year senior Ralph Green III (1st time) and junior Chris Covington (1st time) served as this evening's game captains.
• Indiana won the coin toss for the third time this season and deferred until the second half for the third time this season.
