
No. 2 Indiana Hosts No. 1 Notre Dame on Tuesday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will host the No. 1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
Kickoff in Bloomington, Ind. is set for 7:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, with the match broadcast nationally on the Big Ten Network. Live stats for the match can be found at IUHoosiers.com, while a live stream is available at BTN2GO.com.
Tuesday's match will mark the first time a No. 1-ranked team played the Hoosiers in Bloomington since Notre Dame on Oct. 22, 2014. In that match, Indiana knocked off the Fighting Irish, 1-0.
SETTING THE SCENE

• The Notre Dame Fighting Irish enter Tuesday's match with the Hoosiers with an overall record of 6-1-0 on the season.
• Notre Dame was ranked No. 1 in the nation last week in the United Soccer Coaches poll, but the Irish fell on the road to Virginia Tech, 2-1.
• In a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches, Notre Dame was picked to finish fifth overall in the ACC and to finish third in the Coastal Division behind North Carolina and Virginia.
