Made eight appearances in relief … Struck out 15 batters in 13.2 innings pitched on the season … Tossed 1.1 innings out of the bullpen and recorded his first win of the season at home against Maryland (5/17) … Threw two innings of shutout ball in an away game against Nebraska (5/11), striking out three batters in his relief appearance … Tossed three innings at Minnesota (5/5), striking out three … Hurled 3.1 scoreless frames in a relief appearance against San Diego (3/2), striking out three batters and recording his first save of the season in the Hoosiers’ victory.
