Perry, a former All-American at Ohio State, is in her third season as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator with the Hoosiers after joining the program in August 2015. She works primarily with the Varsity Eight crews.
In Perry's second year at Indiana, the Hoosiers won the Dale England Cup and went on to take fourth place as a team at the Big Ten Championships. That finish earned them an at-large berth in the NCAA Championships where Indiana would finish 12th as a team thanks to a 12th place finish by the First Varsity Eight and a 13th place finish by the Second Varsity Eight.
Indiana continued to be among the national elite in Perry's first year with the program in 2016, earning a third straight trip to the NCAA Championship. The Hoosiers finished 15th as a team with the 1V8 taking 16th and the 2V8 finishing 14th.
Perry came to IU after spending the 2014-15 season at Cornell. Highlighting her experience prior to Indiana was being on staff at Brown and Virginia when those programs won national championships in 2008 and 2012, respectively.
A graduate of Ohio State University, she helped the Buckeyes as a volunteer coach for two seasons after graduation as she completed tryouts for the national team. From there, she moved on to Brown and helped them to the national championship in 2008 and made a return trip to the finals in 2010.
