Indiana Ready for Big Ten Rowing Championships in Indianapolis

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The 2026 Big Ten Championships return to Indiana rowing's backyard as the Hoosiers get set for decisive championship racing Saturday and Sunday (May 16-17) at the Indianapolis Rowing Center on the Eagle Creek Reservoir.
This year's regatta marks the second edition of two-day racing. The top three finishers in each of Saturday's two heats (per boat) will advance to Sunday's grand final; the remaining five will race in the petite final.
Fans can watch the regatta via the B1G+ digital platform Saturday and on the Big Ten Network Sunday. The conference will provide live results at HereNow.com.
Indiana placed fourth at the 2025 championships on its way to a third consecutive NCAA Championships appearance. IU's Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight led the way with fourth place finishes in grand finals.
The 11-team field features five ranked teams – No. 4 Washington, No. 12 Rutgers, No. 16 Ohio State, No. 17 Michigan and No. 18 UCLA.
