IU FALL PREY TO WOLVERINES

Ann Arbor, Mich.- The Indiana women's swimming & diving team traveled to Michigan to take on their dominanting Big Ten rival on Friday, January 30th. The Hoosiers fell to the University of Michigan 136-102

"Michigan is probably the best team in the Big Ten," stated women's head coach Nancy Nitardy. "The pretty much dominated the whole meet." Despite this, Indiana had some of its own highlights. These included a first place finish by the 200 Medley relay made up of Amy Hennies, Christine Jamerino, Jennifer Brooks, and Jen Christy. In addition to Cristy's first place finish in the 200 Medley, she was also the sole individual winner as she captured first in the 50 free.

The Hoosiers stay on the road as they travel to take on the Spartans of Michigan State on Saturday, January 31st. Tomorrow's meet is set to begin at noon.
