HOOSIERS OPEN SEASON WITH LOSS AT KENTUCKY

The Kentucky Wildcats handed Indiana swimming coach Dorsey Tierney a 168.5-129.5 loss in her first meet as head coach at IU on Saturday. Indiana managed to win five events with diver Erin Quinn winning the one and three meter springboard events.

Other winners for the Hoosiers were Jennifer Watts in the 200 fly and Jennifer Cristy in the 50 free. Indiana also won the 200 medley relay.

Next weekend the Hoosiers will be in action at the Illinois Dual Meet Extravaganza. The two day event will be Saturday and Sunday.
