HOOSIERS FAIR WELL AT ST. LOUIS OPEN

St. Louis, Mo., The Indiana University wrestling team opened the season today at the St. Louis Open. Including IU, there were 28 teams participating. Several Hoosiers performed well in both the freshman/sophomore division and in the open competition.

Coach Duane Goldman was impressed with his team's performance, saying, "Considering we have five starters we kept out this weekend, I was pleased with our results. I thought we showed a marked improvement from our competitiveness from last season and I was most encouraged by our improvement which will hopefully make us a stronger team as the season goes on."
