INDIANA SPLITS THE FINAL DUAL MEET AT ILLINOIS

Champaign, Ill.--The Indiana women's swimming and diving (3-3) split the double dual meet today to conclude the Illinois Extravanganza. Indiana defeated Cincinnati 78-35, but fell to Illinois 74-39.
Sophomore Jen Cristy led the swimming attack finishing with two victories. She continued her unbeaten streak in the freestyle events winning the 50-yard free in :23.75 and the 100-yard free in :51.86.
Freshman diver Sara Reiling was also a double winner for the Hoosiers. She captured both the one and three-meter diving titles.
Indiana grabbed a lot of their points off second places. Seniors Jen Brooks and Christine Jamerio picked up second places in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard breaststroke, respectively. Also, Amanda Noblet took second in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke, while Meghan Rice took second in the 100-yard free.
The Hoosiers travel to Ball State next. Their dual meet is scheduled for Nov. 13.
