HOOSIERS TAKE FOURTH IN 400 MEDLEY RELAY
College Station, Texas--The Indiana Hoosiers recorded another successful day at the U.S. Open in College Station, Texas today as the 400-meter medley relay team picked up a fourth place. The team of Helena Wilhelm, Becky Kamberg, Jen Brooks, and Jen Cristy dropped six places off their seed to finish with a Senior National cut time of 4:16.69.
Individually, Jen Brooks qualified in the 100-meter butterfly finals. Brooks took 15th in the 100 fly. Her time of 1:03.59 qualified for a Junior National cut. Freshman Helena Wilhelm also had a Junior National finish for the Hoosiers in the 100 fly.
Sophomore Meghan Rice swam two events today. She placed 39th in the 100-meter back and 58th in the 200-meter free.
Also in the 100-meter back, Libbie McCarthy finished 63rd and Amanda Noblet finished 74th, respectively.
The Indiana women's swim team will conclude the U.S. Open tomorrow, December 5, at Texas A&M.
