HOOSIERS TO HOST NORTHWESTERN

Bloomington, Ind., The Indiana University wrestling team will host Northwestern on Friday, January 22, 1999. The match will mark the beginning of the Big Ten wrestling season for Indiana.
Last week: Indiana improved their record to 5-0-1 last week. This past Saturday in Bloomington, the Hoosiers defeated Marquette and tied with Clarion. On Sunday, the Hoosiers traveled to Ashland, Ohio for the Wendy's Wrestling Classic where they defeated Delaware State, Cleveland State, and Kent State.
The Hoosiers: Wrestling for the first time this season, Pat Cassady (125, 133) was 3-0 over the weekend with one pin. Viktor Sveda (184) has emerged has the team leader, compiling an overall record of 20-3 with seven pins. James Torres (141) has also been strong so far. Torres has racked up an 18-5 record with 4 pins.
