REILING WINS THREE-METER AT IU WINTER INVITE
Bloomington, Ind.--The Indiana diving team competed in the first day of the Indiana Winter Invitational today at Counsilman/Billingsley Aquatics Center.
Freshman Sara Reiling won both the Open and Collegiate three-meter springboard today. With 478.50 points, Reiling outscored Cincinnati Bearcat Angie Trostel by 23.40 points to grab the collegiate victory. Sophomore Erin Quinn took third, and senior Debbie Lipski took fourth, respectively.
In the open category, Reiling defeated former Hoosier Kimiko Hirai by the score of 639.80-634.10. Lipski was awarded fourth, and Quinn was sixth.
The second day of the Indiana Winter Invitational begins tomorrow at 6pm.
