"I am real pleased with the overall performance of the team," says IU head coach Duane Goldman. "James Torres was impressive this weekend in defeating some ranked wrestlers and this solidifies himself as one of the best in the country. Viktor Sveda, Greg Schaffer, Brian Smiley and Gabe Cook all wrestled really well. We are now looking forward to get back into the dual season with our regular lineup and a have a good showing."
There were a total of 15 teams represented at the one-day affair.
