QUINN WINS ONE-METER SPRINGBOARD AT IU WINTER INVITE
Bloomington, Ind.--Sophomore Erin Quinn totalled 406.45 points to win the one-meter springboard at the second day of the Indiana Winter Invitational diving meet. It was a Hoosier sweep with Sara Reiling taking second and Debbie Lipski taking third.
In the one-meter open, former Hoosier and 1996 NCAA champion Kimiko Hirai grabbed first, followed by Quinn, Reiling, and Lipski.
The final event was the three-meter dive-off. Hirai took her second victory of the day defeating Reiling and Quinn.
The Indiana Winter Invitational concludes tomorrow with the 10-meter platform. Action is set to get underway at 10 am.
