CSCAA Ranks Indiana 19th
After a perfect fall and an equally impressive second semester start, the undefeated Indiana women's swimming team was ranked 19th nationally by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. This is the highest rank bestowed on Indiana since head coach Dorsey Tierney came to Bloomington in 1998. Indiana is the fourth of six Big Ten teams in the top 25. Wisconsin sits at 13th, Michigan follows in 14th, and Penn State is ranked 15th. Minnesota at 20th and Northwestern at 23rd round out the conference.
The Hoosiers (5-0, 3-0) most recently defeated Ohio State in Columbus January 13th. Saturday, they take on rival Purdue in West Lafayette. The meet begins at 1 p.m. in Lambert Fieldhouse.
