Woessner Breaks School Record, Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

Susan Woessner was honored as co-Big Ten swimmer of the week after her record setting performance at Purude January 20. She swam the 100 back in 55.60 to break her own school record of 56.54 and set a new Lambert Pool record. Woessner shares the award with Katy Christoferson of Minnesota.

Woessners time is a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA meet. Last year a 55.79 was good enough to compete nationally. At Purdue she also won the 200 back in 2:03.82 and anchored the second place 400 free relay.
