Learn to Row Day May 19

Indiana rowing coaches Mark Wilson and Rob McCracken will host National Learn to
Row Day May 19 at the University School Gymnasium from 9-11a.m.. USRowing and
Concept2 have gathered over 60 rowing cubs and health clubs nationwide to give people
a chance to row on the water and on the ergometer, the rowing machine. The
Bloomington site includes the IU rowing ergometers.

"I am very excited to give people a chance to row. This is a great opportunity to try
something new and promote the sport of rowing," said Wilson.

USRowing is recognized by the USOC as the governing body for the sport of
rowing for the U.S. Concept2 is a Morrisville, Vt. based oar and ergometer
manufacturing company. Riddle Point Rowing Association is the local sponsor. For more
