Bloomington, Ind. - With the regular season finished and the Big Ten Championships in Madison, Wis., approaching on March 8 & 9, the Hoosier wrestling team is preparing for the postseason.

In the Rankings:
In the latest InterMat poll, released Feb. 25, IU redshirt freshman Joe Dubuque is ranked 14th despite dropping his final Big Ten match to Minnesota's Bobbe Lowe when he forfeited with injury. At 141 pounds, Coyte Cooper is ranked sixth in the same poll while Ty Matthews is eighth at 184 pounds and Pat DeGain is 12th at 197.
Pins & Wins:
At 141 pounds and with 16 pins on the season, Coyte Cooper is second in the nation for pins this season. He is second only to Penn State's Scott Moore, the only Big Ten competitor that Cooper has lost to this season. At 197 pounds, DeGain is also second in the country with nine on the season, behind Fresno State's Marcio Botelho with 11.
With 33 wins on the season, Cooper is tied for second in that category with Edinboro's Cory Ace. Cooper's record stands at 33-2. PSU's Moore leads at 141 pounds with 45 wins.
Pat DeGain has 28 wins on the year with just five losses. He is tied for seventh in the 97 pound wins list.
Other News:
Ty Matthews got his 80th career win on Feb. 23rd against Minnesota's Matt Nagel. He has lost only one match at 184 pounds all season, on Feb. 21 against top-ranked Jessman Smith of Iowa.
