Hoosiers Travel to Cincinnati (10-15-04)

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's rowing team will hit the water for its second scrimmage of the season as the Hoosiers travel to Cincinnati, Ohio for an exhibition with Cincinnati on Sunday morning.

"Like Louisville, Cincinnati will be a good crew for us to gauge our early season speed against," said head coach Steve Peterson. " We should learn a lot about our strengths and weakness from it."

The scrimmage will consist of four races, one of which is 5000 meters long followed by three shorter 1000 meter races. IU will take three Varsity Eight crews, and one novice crew to compete against Cincinnati.

A recap of the scrimmage will be available on Monday, Oct. 18.
