Rowing Opens Fall Season with Scrimmage

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Coming off the heels of the most-successful campaign in school history, the Indiana rowing team heads to Cincinnati, Ohio to scrimmage the Bearcats on Oct. 22.
The scrimmage against Cincinnati will provide IU the opportunity to test a variety of lineups in different racing conditions. Additionally, the exhibition contest will also offer IU's novices their first taste of racing against outside competition.
The practice session allows the Hoosiers to get a glimpse of things to come as the Bearcats will return to Bloomington, along with Eastern Michigan and Dayton, on April 1, 2006.
Upon completion of the scrimmage, IU continues its fall season at the Head of the Elk on Oct. 30 in Elkhart, Ind.
