BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana diving claimed a trio of finals placements in the one-meter competition of the Indiana University Open Invitational in the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center on Nov. 18.
Sophomore Christina Loukas finished second with a 295.55 total, while classmate Ashley Greene placed seventh with a 256.70 tally and junior Lindsay Weigle took eighth with a 252.90 total.
Meanwhile, Hawaii's Qiong Jie Huang picked up the title with a 304.35 effort, while Miami's Christin Eberst rounded out the top three with a 284.55.
Notably, this is the first season the IU Invitational will not have a team champion, as the meet changed into an open format to include more swimmers and divers in the event.
Next up, the Indiana Invitational continues with finals action at 6 p.m. this evening at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center in Bloomington, Ind.
