BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Over the 2005-06 campaign, IUHOOSIERS.com will catch up with former Indiana swimmers and divers to see where life has taken them after graduating from IU. Erin Gorlesky, who swam for IU from 2002-04, took the time to fill in IUHOOSIERS.com on her life since graduation.
What have you been doing since graduating from Indiana University?
Presently, I am working for the Prosecutor's office in Indianapolis, with plans to go back to school next year...and try new things.
What did you enjoy the most about your time as a Hoosier?
All the wonderful ladies I met. Their friendships and all the memories.
What piece of advice would you give to any current Hoosier?
Enjoy your "now" time. There will be times when you think "I can't wait until the season is over" or "I can't wait for my senior year." But, when that time comes you'll think "Man, that went way too fast." It's a fun and fast ride...hold on!
Would you say that being a student-athlete at Indiana University has helped you get to where you are today?
Being a (former) student-athlete, I have very high expectations of myself. I have a goal in mind and I believe that I will achieve it because I know what hard work, dedication and determination is.
Anything additional you would like to add?
IU is truly the best and has the best group of girls. I miss my times there!
