Senior Running Back Chris Taylor
On the injuries:
CT: "You are going to have your nicks and bruises this time of the year. We've got to go out there and play through it. We can't make any excuses."
On the start of third quarter:
CT: "That was our style of football. We have got to go out there and make plays every series. We are not making enough big plays. We need some 60 and 70-yard plays instead of the five and 10-yard plays. We need more explosion and more big plays."
Junior Safety Troy Grosfield:
On the difference between the first half and second half:
TG: "In the first half, it was great. Everybody was flying to the ball and everybody is getting in the right position, doing things right at 100 miles an hour."
Sophomore quarterback Blake Powers:
On the start of second half:
BP: "We did not come out as fired up as we were. We picked it back up after a quarter. It just shows you cannot have spells like that in this game if you want to compete in this conference."
On focusing on the rest of the year:
BP: "Right now we are focusing on winning the next two games because going to a bowl has been our goal since the last season ended. We are shot but not dead. We have to win both of our final two games."
