BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - From time to time, junior Elaine Deppe will provide a diary of the off-season experience of an Indiana rower as well as her thoughts on what it is like to be a student at Indiana University.
The two nights, we had our first official novice informational meetings, and both turned out great! We were all impressed with each other by the size and athleticism of the women that came to the meetings. They weren't necessarily all tall, but as a whole, they were a pretty impressive group of athletes.
We've been getting some really great people approaching us who are interested in rowing which makes us super excited. We've gotten Indiana Rowing out all over campus and we're getting some really interested people!
I'm psyched to see the team so excited to make our team better. We've already come together so much this past week as a team to make our team better. I can't wait to see how much more we come together throughout the year and to see how much we've accomplished!
