IU Off to Solid Start at Hoosier Relays

Results
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's and women's track and field teams opened the Hoosier Relays on Feb. 3 in strong fashion. The meet, which featured over 1,000 athletes, will continue on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 11:50 a.m. at Gladstein Fieldhouse.
Courtney Johnson highlighted the competition with an NCAA provisional qualifying and personal best mark in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.43. Johnson is the second Hoosier women to earn an NCAA qualifying mark this season. Stacey Clausing earned a provisional qualifying time of 54.31 at the Indiana Invitational.
After the first day of competition, 20 Hoosiers advanced to the finals in their respective events. Against some of the nation's top competition, 14 IU athletes nabbed new personal best marks.
