Cihoski Captures Pair of Virginia State Titles

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Freshman Kristin Cihoski turned in a pair of incredible times at the 2006 Virginia Senior State Championships en route to capturing two event titles in Charlottesville, Va., on March 10.
The Hoosier initially claimed the 100-yard butterfly title with the 10th-fastest time in school history when she clocked a personal-best time of 55.58.
She returned to seize the 400-yard IM crown with IU's sixth-fastest time in program chronicles by touching in 4:18.55.
Cihoski continues her run for more titles at the Virginia State Championships in the 100-yard backstroke on March 11.
