ATHENS, Ga. - The No. 16 Indiana women's swimming and diving team is currently competing in the 2006 NCAA Championships in Athens, Ga., from March 16-18. The Hoosiers will take time out of their incredibly busy schedule to talk to IUHOOSIERS.com. Senior Kristen Bradley talked about the relaxed nature of the meet and the different relay lineups offered up by Indiana head coach Ray Looze.
This meet, so far, for all of us has been much more relaxed. I think, because of that, it has been much more fun. We have all just been relaxing together and going out to eat. I know that we have been laughing the whole time. It has been really fun so far.
As far as swimming, it has been the same thing. We have been doing our own thing and getting ready for our races. We also have been doing a lot of take-offs together. We have been doing that a lot.
We have been going with some different relays as well, but our 800-yard freestyle relay will still be strong. Even at Big Tens, we weren't really sure who would be on it and we found some really strong people in the 200 free.
In the medleys, I am really the only new person on it. I usually am not on it. I am in there right now, because we don't have a breaststroker here. I am used to it, though. I really think everything will be okay.
