• The Hoosiers won their 22nd consecutive game at Assembly Hall with tonight's 84-72 victory as Head Coach Kelvin Sampson improved to 20-0 at home in his IU career. Indiana improved to 16-0 against teams from the Ohio Valley Conference in winning the first-ever game against Tennessee State.
• Indiana used an 11-0 run early in the first half to turn a 6-4 lead into a 17-4 advantage. IU held a double-digit lead until the 15:21 mark of the second half when the Tigers trimmed the lead to 55-46.
• Indiana matched a season high with 28 free throws in the contest, as the Hoosiers also had 28 against Georgia Tech. D.J. White was 7-for-9 and Eric Gordon was 6-for-6.
• The Hoosiers had 40 or more rebounds for the fourth time this season, finishing the game with 41 boards. IU won the rebounding battle for the fifth straight game.
• D.J. White was lights out in the first half, shooting 8-for-8 from the field for 20 points, and added six rebounds and four blocks before the break. The totals for points and blocks were season highs for the senior. White set a career high with his 29 points and added 13 rebounds for his fourth consecutive double-double. White also took his first career 3-point attempt in the game. He now has five straight games with 10 or more caroms.
• Jamarcus Ellis finished in double digits for the fourth straight game, finishing with 10 points. He also added a career-high 10 assists in the game for his third double-double of the season. He became the first Hoosier with double-digit assists since Earl Calloway had 11 against Penn State on March 3, 2007.
• Mike White played a season-high 30 minutes and matched a career high with eight rebounds in the contest. He added 11 points in the contest, a season high for the senior.
• Brandon McGee returned for the Hoosiers after missing the previous two games due to illness. McGee finished with seven points in his 13 minutes of action.
• Lance Stemler hit back-to-back 3-pointers for the Hoosiers with under eight minutes to play, stretching the IU lead from 65-58 to 71-58 with six minutes to play. He finished with nine points and two steals.
• Armon Bassett had eight points and three assists and played 39 minutes for the Hoosiers. It marks the fourth straight game he has played 35 or more minutes for Indiana.
• DeAndre Thomas added two points off the bench for IU.
The Hoosiers will host Kentucky on Saturday, December 8 in the annual "White Out" game. IU fans are encouraged to wear white to Assembly Hall on the day of the game.
