HEAD COACH Ray Looze ON THE DUAL AT TENNESSEE
"I am really proud of them. We we toe-to-toe with one of the top teams in the country for about 80 percent of the meet. We lost a couple of close races and that proved to be the difference. We were right there in it for much of the meet and it was closer than the score might indicate.
"I think we took some major steps forward today. I was pleased with the level of energy that the team brought today and we came up with some big wins in close races."
Todd Waikel ON THE DIVING PERFORMANCE AT TENNESSEE
• "Everone did a great job. All in all I thought it was a strong performance and it shows we are really starting to come around."
